Full Moon in Cancer | Conquering Your Sea of Emotions

● | ● | ● | ●

 December 25th, 2015

Full Moon in Cancer: Don't believe the lies your ego tells.
Believe the truth your soul shares.

The constant battle between what the ego believes to be our truth and what the soul believes to be our truth comes from us confusing one with the other. How can we tell the difference when emotions seem to take over our rationality? It is actually quite simple. The ego wants to stay on top of our emotions. While the soul understands that we are bigger than our emotions. This doesn't mean that the soul doesn't want to deal with our emotions and feelings. It simply means that the soul doesn't want emotions to cloud our sense of judgment. The idea of our ego bruising comes from us thinking that our integrity is being jeopardized. When in truth, our soul's integrity is never in jeopardy. It is the ego that creates the illusion of separation from our sense of empowerment. Whereas the soul brings us back to our awareness and sense of self. By understanding that each and every one of us has our own assumptions, perceptions and expectations, we make less room for the ego to take over whenever we feel emotionally threatened. By understanding that the soul's integrity can never be taken away from us, we make way for our consciousness to keep growing and evolving. Perhaps it's about time we looked deep within our consciousness for any old anger, resentment or grievances. Perhaps it's about time we forgave ourself for thinking that our old self should had known better. Understand that we reacted the way we did because of all the information we knew at the time. There is no fast forward button to life. There are only the play and pause buttons. The play button pushes us to keep on moving forward, while the pause button serves as a reminder for us to stop for a moment and reflect. Let go of our attachment to the ego and become the captain of our soul.

Happy Full Cold Moon! The Moon is in Cancer opposite the Sun, Pluto and Mercury in Capricorn, marking an extra intuitive and emotional Full Moon in the sign of the Crab. The Native American tribes call this the Cold Moon or the Long Nights Moon because it's a time when the winter cold fastens its grip, and it is near the winter solstice - the night with the least amount of daylight. According to NASA, the last time a Full Moon lit up the night sky on Christmas Day was in 1977. This celestial phenomenon will not happen again until 2034. Ruling the 4th House in Astrology, or the House of Family and Home, the Cancer Full Moon couldn't have come at a better time. A time when people like to gather with family and friends. Regardless of our beliefs, the holiday season is a great time to spend with those we care about. If we are missing somebody far away or no longer here in physical form, know that the bond we have with them is eternal, surpassing time and space. They are always close to us in spirit through the love we have in our heart. With Pluto and Mercury energies in the mix, we are thinking of making positive changes on our own. We know what we want and no longer want to settle for second best. With a new sense of independence and self-reliance, we are ready to move forward toward our goal. For some of us, this could mean that we are ready for self-employment, or upgrading our self-employment to the next level. Remember that being independent doesn't mean that we have to plan everything alone. By being open to look past the personalities and egos of others without trying to control or change, we make way for authentic communication and helpful interactions to take place.

The Moon is also forming a trine to Neptune and Venus, and we look to our inner self to bring peace to our life and home. Are we ready to invite more love into our life? Put our heart into our conversations and know that a sense of solidarity can go a long way. It will be great to see that there are many others just like us. Our creativity and imagination will also help to make fun out of anything ordinary. So expect friendships to begin to blossom again during this time as we become open to our more caring and playful attitude. All our senses can also work overtime, including a certain sixth sense about romantic matters. In the heat of the moment, we could connect more fully with our feelings that we feel inspired to produce a piece of art. Take a risk, we might really surprise ourself. With the Moon's square to Uranus Rx and Mars, are we having mood swings? Perhaps we need to get rid of anything negative. Try to go somewhere peaceful and get together with friends or family to share our innermost feelings. This can be one of a hectic whirlwind period for us as the winds are blowing changes our way more strongly. Focus on finding the positive side to everything by remembering that a disagreement can be a great learning experience. With Uranus moving direct, the new week can bring about quite a few changes, and we will soon understand how important every change really was. We can have many new ideas that we want to put action to, and nothing can stop us now from putting those ideas to work. Know that this is only the beginning of new things to come, so step our spirit up to provide the necessary motivation to get to work. Make it a point now to have a heartfelt view of things and let life begin to show its magic once again.

Moon in Sights | November 28th - December 23rd, 2015

November 28th, 2015 | Moon in Cancer, trines Neptune and Chiron Rx, squares Mars, Venus and Uranus Rx, opposes Pluto, sextiles Jupiter: Giving birth to a new life. Turning over a new leaf. The Moon is back home in Cancer after another round the zodiac wheel, and we are given another chance to start over. The great thing about starting over is that we can do it as often as we like. Regardless of what happened to us in the past, we always have the power within us to start a new chapter. To open a new page in our life with all that we've learnt along the way. To understand that life is truly a journey where we can learn and grow with each situation we encounter. There is no time limit to healing. There is no time limit to transformation. We may not have all the pieces of the puzzle yet, but all the pieces will fall into place as we make our way forward. Even if it doesn't make sense right now, it will all make sense as we begin to follow our soul's guidance. Have trust in the unfoldment of life. Have faith that as we leave the old behind, the new is already calling our name. Embrace that new. We owe it to ourself to start embodying our new, more learned and more evolved self.

November 30th, 2015 | Moon in Leo, trines Saturn, the Sun, Mercury and Uranus Rx, inconjuncts Neptune and Pluto, sextiles Mars and Venus: Rediscovering our light in the dark. Finding our way back through emotional healing. With the Sun, Leo's ruler, forming a conjunction to Saturn in the sign of forward-thinking Sagittarius, things may seem darker than they appear. There could have been the tendency to look at the negative side of things, instead of the positive. The feeling of not being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Or simply seeing no end in sight to our problems. Know that here lies the wisdom in cultivating a deeper sense of connection with our own mind. How far are we willing to let the mind lure us into believing that there is no more chance for a better change? Just how far are we going to let that negative mind chatter take over? This is no longer about the mind. But more about the belief in our heart. Like the Moon that gives way to the Sun every morning to shine, the dark will eventually yield light. Everything is a cycle, and growth is inevitable. We may not be able to see the light right away, but we can start by having the faith in our heart that this too, shall pass. Spend some time tuning into our feelings. Listen to our inner truth and trust what we feel. Be extra gentle with ourself. This can mean slowing down our pace, avoiding multi-tasking, and not pushing ourself too hard. Respect ourself by holding gentle, compassionate thoughts about ourself. Have trust in the sacred unfolding of events. Ride the waves with open heart and mind, and let the light within lead our way forward.

December 2nd, 2015 | Moon in Virgo, opposes Neptune and Chiron, squares Saturn, the Sun and Mercury, trines Pluto: The work is not yet done. There's still a long road ahead and it's asking us to get back in touch with our faith and resilience. It can be easy at this time to feel overwhelmed or to even question the purpose of it all. Instead of wondering whether this will all be worth it in the end, put our focus more on our personal growth. This is no longer about trying to please everyone, but more about trying to honour our own soul's evolution. Because at the end of the day, we all have two things in common, our body and our mind. It is time we listen more closely to them and have more faith in them. To understand that we cannot fill another cup with an empty cup. To know that as we move forward, our body and mind grow along with us. The ongoing square between Saturn and Neptune has been guiding us to remember to slow down, to breathe and to take it easy. There's a message coming from 'too much multi-tasking' and 'trying be everywhere doing everything for everyone'. The message is for us to realize that self-care is a necessity. Spend some time devoted solely to rest time so that we can revive our energy. Rather than rushing to get everything done, take a practical step-by-step approach now. If we're unsure of which steps to take first, listen to our inner guidance, and then take those steps as we're guided without hesitation or delay. Remember to be good to ourself along the way, as there truly is only one of us on this planet. Anything that gives us peace and quiet can help us release stress and prepare our path for new opportunities ahead.

December 5th, 2015 | Moon in Libra, sextiles Saturn, the Sun and Mercury, conjuncts Mars, squares Pluto, opposes Uranus Rx: What lies beyond the spoken words? What lies in the unspoken? Can we find answers without asking the questions? Sometimes we do get an inner knowing without having to ask the questions. Some call it intuition, some call it instinct. Other times, the answers we're looking for lie beyond words because they are in our heart. How are we feeling now? Can we trust our intuition enough to hear beyond what is spoken? Perhaps we are afraid of the truth. Or perhaps, we simply can't decide what is true and what isn't. It is now our time to decide. What are we going to feel? Who are we going to be? How are we going to heal our relationship with our mind? Can we form a new thinking habit - where we can focus more on the positive, rather than the negative? For many it is a constant battle, between focusing on the negative and the positive. We now have the capacity to bring our focus back on our own personal power. The power to decide to no longer think negatively about ourself. The power to choose more empowering thoughts. The power to understand that we can do better now because we know better. We have more strength than we know and now we are guided to see ourself as strong. Strength is not just about physical muscles, but also about our emotional and mental resilience. Stay centered in peace and stay away from drama. We are deepening our relationship with the self.

December 7th, 2015 | Dark Moon in Scorpio, conjuncts Venus, trines Neptune and Chiron, sextiles Pluto and Jupiter: What is truth is truth, and a very powerful part of you can recognize truth. -Don Miguel Ruiz ● How far are we willing to go to understand our heart better? How deep are we willing to dig to uncover the root of our hurt? This is not about opening the skeleton closet, but more about finding a way to be at peace with our emotions. What wisdom can we learn from our hurt? Are we still in pain? Or are we already on our way to emotional healing? Regardless of what form of truth we might be facing, we always have the power that comes from being authentically ourself. There is strength in honouring who we truly are. There is courage in staying resilient in the midst of challenges. Can we open our eyes more to our own emotions? How open are we to being naked with our own truth? The dark Moon conjoining Venus in Scorpio is guiding us to stay true to our heart. There is no other way now but the way to real honesty and true authenticity. To follow the path that feels most sincere. To honour our soul by being honest with our own heart. Perhaps fear has been holding us back from an important priority. Or perhaps worry has been consuming our energy. As we are approaching a New Moon in Sagittarius, dedicate some time to detoxing ourself from worry energy. Listen to what our heart is trying to say that can assist us in our emotional cleansing and release. It is indeed the time to let our faith be bigger than our fears.

December 11th, 2015 | New Moon in Sagittarius: Sometimes the answers lie in letting go of the questions and going with your heart. Let's get to know our fears a little bit better. To no longer question them, but to begin understanding them in a way that brings us new thoughts and ideas. Where do our fears come from, anyway? We may believe that they come from outside of us, from other people, or circumstances that we have no control over. If we're willing to stop for a minute, we will see that they all come from within. This is not to blame ourself for all the fears that we may be harboring or feeling. But more to see where the root of our fears lie within us. As we get to know our fears a little better, we will see that the root of all fears come from us thinking that things wouldn't go the way that we want them to go. So then, is there a way for us to see fears in a different light? In a more positive way, perhaps? Well, the first thing to notice is the pattern of our fears. What can we see? Do we keep invoking the same kind of fear within us? If so, can we turn them around by focusing instead on the power that we have in the present moment? Our future moments are not set in stone. Even if some of us believe that they are, we still have the power to change them. Or transform them in a way - by working together with life, and not against it. One way to work together with life is to see the future as filled with possibilities. Instead of seeing our fears coming true as possibilities, see the future as a time filled with new chances for growth and expansion. By understanding that we always grow with each fear we encounter, we can see fears in a different way. By realizing our true authentic power, we will see that each moment is a chance for us to grow beyond our current limitations. Read more on: http://bit.ly/21Rs4Wc

December 13th, 2015 | Moon in Capricorn, conjuncts Mercury and Pluto, sextiles Neptune and Venus, squares Uranus Rx and Mars, trines Jupiter: Post-New Moon Diary. Finding a new sense of appreciation for the present. Discovering new wisdom in the small steps we take. What can we see when we slow down and take a look around? Can we truly appreciate the moment? Or do we feel that we are just too busy for that? As we welcome a new week, we can begin to pick up our pace. Where we may have gone too fast, we can begin slowing down our pace to be more present in the moment. Where we may have gone too slow, we can begin picking up speed to go to that next step. The Moon conjoining Mercury and Pluto is guiding us to notice our ideas and thoughts. To especially notice repetitive thoughts which guide us to make positive changes. We are receiving important divine guidance through our feelings and emotions. Which is why it's important to listen to them, and to take action upon them. The sextile to Venus and Neptune can also bring a sudden opening of the heart, where we feel more ready to let more love to permeate our life. We have worked hard to heal and open our heart, and now love has room to enter. Love comes in many forms. Through wonderful friends, spiritual connections, as well as through the healing power of self-love. Let the love energy work through us to increase our strength, heighten our intuition and take inspired action in our life. It's time to become our heart's best ally again.

December 15th, 2015 | Moon in Aquarius, sextiles Saturn, Uranus Rx and the Sun, squares Venus, trines Mars: Discovering that true power is in our hands. Seeing old situations in a different light. Through an epiphany, a new way of thinking is born. Perhaps we have been seeing it the wrong way. Perhaps our ego has been getting in the way. Can we see the wisdom? Can we feel the true power that lies within us? When was the last time we look inside ourself to make a decision about taking that important step? Realizing that we no longer have to wait for another to initiate and make the decisions for us, but to initiate them from our own sense of personal power. It truly can be a liberating feeling to finally release old shackles of disempowerment and follow our gut for a change. To really follow it, and believe that we always have within us the power of choice. The ego may want to control everything and let our heart and mind take a back seat. But now is our time to surrender control issues and let our true self shines from within. To take our heart power back and trust the feelings we get. The Moon forming a sextile to Saturn, Uranus Rx and the Sun is guiding us to see the path that is before us in a new way. We are receiving new inspiration through our ideas, epiphanies and thoughts. It's about time we took bold steps in the direction of our dreams. To clear away old fears and negativity about decision-making and taking action. To listen to our inner truth and trust what we feel. The door is open now. Leave the ego at the door and enter with our true, authentic inner power intact.

December 17th, 2015 | Moon in Pisces, conjuncts Neptune and Chiron, squares Saturn and the Sun, sextiles Mercury and Pluto, trines Venus, opposes Jupiter: Welcoming a brand new phase in healing. Releasing what no longer serves our heart's greatest good. Listening more closely to our soul's whispering wisdom. What can we let go? What can we begin? Our heart knows the answers to these questions because our heart knows what we have endured. What lessons have we learnt from love? How open are we to letting the love energy permeate our life? This is not the time to remember past pain. This is the time to remember our heart's growing strength. There is love within waiting to be expressed. By opening the Heart Chakra - through breathing consciously and visualizing in our mind a love heart blossoming and beaming light from the chest area, we can begin the process of releasing old pain and sending more love out into the Universe. There is love on offer, as well as the wisdom to stay true to our heart. The Moon forming a conjunction to Neptune and Chiron and a sextile to Mercury and Pluto is guiding us to add more breathing room to our schedule. To take more positive and healthful action towards the betterment of our psyche. To surrender to the divine wisdom of our higher mind. To listen to our feelings with a grateful heart. The completion of an old cycle is at hand. This means out with the old, in with the new. Send our gratitude to the old phase as we welcome a new one where we feel more ready to move forward, spread our wings and fly even higher than ever before.

December 19th, 2015 | Moon in Aries, trines Saturn and the Sun, squares Mercury and Pluto, conjuncts Uranus Rx, opposes Mars: Moving on and going forward on our path. Beginning a brand new cycle more embedded in our truth. Letting go of ideas and beliefs that no longer serve our soul's greatest good. How far are we willing to go on the quest to find our truth? Remember that believing in our truth doesn't mean that we reserve the right to trample on what others believe to be the truth. But to have trust in our own chosen path to move forward with faith and a sense of conviction. To be open to exploring different beliefs and ideologies, not to prove to others which way is right and which is wrong. But to show that each and every one of us is indeed on our own individual journey. There is insecurity and fear in judging others for what they believe in. There is courage and love in understanding that we owe nobody an explanation for what we believe in. So which road are we going to take? This is not an invitation to take the high road or any other road for that matter. But to simply go instead with what we believe to be the truth of our heart. Focus upon being true to ourself without having to compromise our ethics or be intimidated by others. To see struggles not as blocks but as gestures from the universe to show how strong we truly are. To know that after all we've been through, we are now more equipped for whatever comes our way. The Aries Moon is here to remind us that we have strength within us and we are also strong enough to stick to our beliefs, walk our talk and say no to negativity or distractions from our path as we continue our way forward.

December 21st, 2015 | Moon in Taurus, sextiles Neptune and Chiron, trines Pluto, Mercury and Jupiter, opposes Venus: A new awakening in healing. A new outlook on life. Things from the past bearing a new revelation. How can we heal a broken heart? How can we heal a broken soul? In truth, both the heart and the soul can never be broken. It is our feelings and thoughts that hurt. The feeling of losing something. The feeling of being misunderstood by someone. The feeling of betrayal. Generally any kind of emotion that brings to us a feeling of disconnection from our true power. Where did that power go? How can we regain our sense of empowerment? One of the most effective ways to heal a broken heart is to give. To help. To share. There is wisdom in giving to another. There is love in helping another. Sharing can bring a feeling of peace — even for a moment. Honour our emotions with opening our heart more. Respect our feelings by listening to our inner truth. A truth that resides within us, and that can never be taken away from us. It is never-ending, everlasting and eternal. It is what we call our soul power. A power that doesn't need to control - because control is a form of fear. But a power in recognizing our own integrity, and following our own unique path. Perhaps we have been pushing a little too hard, or perhaps we have been beating ourself up with perfectionism. The Taurus Moon forming a trine to Pluto, Mercury and Jupiter brings a reminder to put greater focus on the needs of our mind and body. A quiet respite can bring a feeling of renewal and healing, because like our lungs, our soul needs a breathing space. Breathe the new with open heart. Rejuvenate the soul with taking better care of ourself. Feel our energy and passion return as we let go of the old and make space for the new.

December 23rd, 2015 | Moon in Gemini, squares Neptune and Jupiter, opposes Saturn, sextiles Uranus Rx, trines Mars: Pre-Full Moon Diary. Walking our talk. Standing in our truth. Speaking from the heart. As the Moon grows fuller, we have some more releasing and letting go to do to make space for the new. To release means to surrender. To surrender means to relinquish our need to control. Letting go of our need to control means to stop struggling or fighting with ourself. Instead of seeing ourself negatively because of seeming imperfections, see ourself instead as a work in progress. Instead of feeling that we should be farther ahead on our path by now, see how far we have come and how many lessons we have learned along the way. There is a sense of freedom in knowing that we are an open vessel to new experiences. To look into our heart and have trust that it is safe to admit the truth to ourself. Perhaps we have been hiding from our true feelings. Perhaps we have been feeling that we'd be overwhelmed by emotions and faced with making the necessary changes that we feel unprepared for. Trust our own feelings now even if others don't agree, but avoid getting caught up in the illusion that 'this is the way it is.' Each day, make the time to listen to our heart and communicate our heart in an honest way. Knowing that the more we listen to that voice within, the more confident we will feel with what our heart has to say. Quiet our mind and listen. There is new wisdom waiting to be heard.

New Moon in Sagittarius | Following The Heart Compass

● | ● | ● | ●

 December 11th, 2015

New Moon in Sagittarius: Sometimes the answers lie in letting go
of the questions and going with your heart.

Happy New Moon! The Moon is conjoining the Sun in Sagittarius along with Saturn, marking an extra active and ambitious New Moon in the sign of the Archer-Centaur. Here is our chance for another brand new start. Even if we can't yet see a future that's filled with possibilities, we should at least get a better understanding of our fears of the future. Ruled by the planet Jupiter in Astrology, Sagittarius is a sign that looks more toward the future rather than the past. But with Saturn now moving through the sign, also known as the planet of restrictions or limitations in Astrology, the energy can get a little tangled between our need for expansion and our fear of it. We may have a desire for growth and evolution, but we may also have some fears that we need to deal with along the way. How can we move beyond those fears? How can we grow into fully embodying our true, most authentic and powerful self? Perhaps we need both fear and love in our life in order to understand ourself better. To try to find the wisdom in our fears. The wisdom of understanding our limitations better in order to understand our true potentials. Yes, it can all be a confusing mix, but only if we are not fully open and centered in our own soul. Is it possible perhaps, that deep down we are afraid of growth? It is possible, because growth can mean that we have to go outside of our comfort zone. This New Moon is our time to understand that it doesn't always have to be about going out of our comfort zone, but more about going deeper within to discover our true potentials. The possibility for growth is always embedded within us, as we shall soon see. As we nurture that optimistic side within us, we will see the many possibilities that life has to offer. Again, this is not about turning a blind eye to our fears or what we believe to be the reality of our life. But more to see life in a way that brings us a growing sense of openness to advancement and progress.

With the Moon forming a square to Neptune and Jupiter, we are at a crossroads, and we are listening to our inner guidance about the best direction to take through our feelings. Spend some time in quiet contemplation with our feelings. Listen more closely to our emotions to help them reveal to us our innermost truths. A few things may not be as clear as we want them to be now, which is why we need to be extra aware so that we can consciously know how we really feel. The Moon in Sagittarius can also evoke within us the desire for travel or even to learn new languages. But perhaps we currently have some obligations to attend to or projects to complete. Regardless of our current situation, a more playful approach to responsibilities can bring about humor, creativity and surprises to our day. The Moon is also forming a trine to Uranus Rx and a sextile to Mars, and even though there's so much intense energy in the world right now, there's also a new wave of positive energy coming through our prayers and belief. Each one of us plays an important part in this. By refusing to let fear get in our way, we make room for courage to permeate our life. By keeping our heart open to love and light, we make way for miracles to support us on our path. A New Moon is always a great time to start anew. To see our world with brand new eyes and to explore new options. Communicating and sharing of ideas can expand our boundaries and broaden our horizons at this time. Just remember to keep the faith and keep on following our heart compass, because that's where our true inspiration resides.

October 31st, 2015 | Moon in Cancer, trines Neptune Rx and the Sun, sextiles Jupiter, Venus and Mars, opposes Pluto, squares Uranus Rx and Mercury: Happy Halloween! The Moon is back home in Cancer, just in time for the Halloween celebration. Whatever we may be feeling now, know that we have the full support of our intuition and inner guidance. People say the veil between worlds is thinner on Halloween. With the Moon trining Neptune Rx and the Sun, forming a Grand Water Trine, we find a way to bring our inspirations down to Earth so that we can get a better hold of them. There truly is nothing to fear at this time, but the fear that comes from our own limited thinking. Perhaps we have been feeling stuck, like we should be further ahead than we are right now. The Grand Water Trine reminds us that this is not the time to complain, to compare, or to affirm lack. But to stay positive, uplifted, and inspired. One of the ways that can help us train our brain to stay positive is by challenging those negative thoughts. Each time a negative thought arises, we can choose how to respond. Instead of dwelling on downers, we can instead dwell on things that lift our spirits. Because when we are focusing on the negatives, we remove ourself from our ability to find positive solutions. We can also release thoughts that are self-deprecating by focusing on times when we were outgoing, playful and confident. Instead of thinking "I'm a failure." affirm, "I am open to the rhythm and flow of my ever-changing life." There is no green monster in the closet, as we will soon see, for they are mostly a product of our imagination. Let Halloween reminds us that we have it within us to step up, and that we are powerful and have access to divine wisdom. Spook away those worries and fears and open the door to our heart's upliftment.

November 2nd, 2015 | Moon in Leo, squares Mercury and the Sun, trines Saturn and Uranus Rx, inconjuncts Neptune Rx and Pluto: The new week begins on a more serious note. The Moon in Leo is usually a light-hearted period when we can feel a little more playful than usual - regardless of our age. With the Moon forming a square to Mercury and the Sun, responsibilities are on our mind. We could plan on doing something, and then have it be delayed because of unforeseen errands to run. Or we could simply feel overwhelmed because we have too many things to do that we don't actually feel like doing. At the end of the day, the Moon's trine to Saturn brings to us a new revelation on how to better manage our time. To make time for responsibilities so that we can also have time for play. To make a priority list of things we need to do first before everything else. And to also be aware enough to say no when we already have a lot on our plate. Remember to spend some time to express ourself creatively along the way. As well as devote some time to be alone when we need to regain our center. The point is to release any pent-up emotions so that we can unblock the flow of our creative energy, and get us feel motivated again. Simple pleasures like moments of silliness with a friend, drawing, writing, cooking, or watching a funny TV show are examples of ways we can have fun and express our playfulness. Yes, it is possible to find a certain level of balance between work and play. We just need to have more trust in ourself, stay playful and affirm: I am becoming more aware each day of the unending possibilities I can explore to inject more fun into my life. http://youtu.be/eclwm6l9h6Y

November 5th, 2015 | Moon in Virgo, sextiles Mercury and the Sun, squares Saturn, opposes Neptune Rx, trines Pluto, conjuncts Jupiter, Mars and Venus: Rediscovering the magic in the mundane. Has daily life been a little too mundane or ordinary for our liking lately? So where did the magic go? Know that magic is not always about flying fairies or dancing gnomes, but more about having a brand new awareness and understanding. To notice something that we didn't see before. To get a flash of inspiration from a stranger we meet on the street. To learn an easier way to do something at a new class we're taking. Magic can be found anywhere if we are open to it. Being more present in the moment is one of the best ways to 'see' things that we wouldn't have seen if we were in a rush. Walking more mindfully is another way we can stimulate our mind and strengthen our awareness. This means feeling our feet moving, focusing on the sense of stepping on the ground. And then start noticing the details of the experience. What can we see? How do we feel? It is time we do some clearing on an emotional level. To stop carrying around old, toxic emotions and feelings. To acknowledge our mistakes along the way, and to forgive ourself for what we have done in the past. This is not the time to look back and regret, this is the time to look forward and move on. We have it within us now to start again with more joy, better health and a new sense of inner peace. The keywords from Venus, Mars and Jupiter are: love, strength and perseverance. Get ready to open our eyes and see life in a new way.

November 7th, 2015 | Dark Moon in Libra, conjuncts Lilith, sextiles Saturn, inconjuncts Neptune Rx, Squares Pluto, opposes Uranus Rx: Pre-New Moon Diary. Despite of what's happening in the world right now, is it possible for us to maintain a positive outlook? The Moon is dark in Libra as we are approaching a New Moon in Scorpio. Maintaining a positive attitude may take some work, because we are constantly bombarded with fear and negative news stories that do not bring anything but worry into our mind. Know that having curiosity about the world is one thing, being obsessed with negativity is another. What then can we do to remain optimistic in a world where most of the media outlets see public fear as 'growth industry'? Understanding that we determine our reality with our mind is one of the first ways we can shift our attention. When something happens, we get to choose whether it's a positive or negative experience and then react accordingly. Instead of letting anger, disappointment, or complaining take over, a positive attitude can help us become a better problem solver. Using language to shape our thoughts is another great way to revitalize our energy. Little changes in our language can change the way we think and how we act, because language shapes how we think about the world. Do our words uplift and heal us? Or do they make us feel down and discouraged? This doesn't mean that we use words that do not seem genuine to us, but we can start by using words that make us feel better. It is time we put our boundaries into place. To not be afraid to ask others for help, or to allow others to help us. To say no to activities which can drain us. And to spare some time to recharge our batteries whenever we feel overwhelmed. This can mean taking a few hours on the weekend to read a positive book, or taking a few days off for a holiday. If we are not in the position to travel, we can always have a holiday at home where we simply switch off from the outside world and spend time doing things we love. So what are we going to choose next to help us move beyond our past limitations?

November 11th, 2015 | New Moon in Scorpio: Give your fears the chance to transform you, not bury you. Can we hear what our fears are trying to say? If we can, are we truly 'listening'? What does it mean to listen to our fears? It means delving deeper into our inner world to uncover the root cause of our fears. And if we're willing to look closer, we will see that the root of all fears is fear of the unknown. "If I do this, what will happen to me?". "If that happens, what will happen to my life?". "If I go to that place, will I be safe?". This doesn't mean that knowing the outcome of a situation in advance will make us feel better. Well, it does only if we know the outcome will match to what we actually want to happen. But what if it will not? This kind of question is the beginning of all worries that come into our mind. Does this mean that we shouldn't care about what will happen to us? No. It means that we shouldn't forget where our personal power currently resides. The present moment. Trusting our intuition or instincts is the first step we can take to better prepare for a future moment. If we are not ready to do something, simply don't do it. Especially if it involves anything that could jeopardize physical safety. Know that when we are finally ready to do something, that's when we will do it no matter the outcome. Then how about those people that say, "If not now, when?". Well, if we are truly not ready to do something, we wouldn't do it anyway. And if we end up doing it, it means that we are ready to face whatever the outcome — which in other words means that we are ready in some way. It is time for us to be gentle with ourself. To honour each step we take along the way. To not let our fears or insecurities define us, but to listen to them in a way that can enlighten us. Listening to what our fears are trying to say is the first step to finding our inner courage. Read more on: http://bit.ly/1WKlTmU

November 13th, 2015 | Moon in Sagittarius, conjuncts Saturn, sextiles Venus, squares Neptune Rx and Jupiter, trines Uranus Rx: Post-New Moon Diary. The ongoing square aspect between Saturn and Neptune has been guiding us to look at the connection between dreams and reality in a new way. And the tighter the square gets, the more pressure it begets. The more that we want to escape and go on an adventure, the more that responsibilities are calling our name. Is there a way out of it? Or at the very least, a way around it? Well, for some of us that are perhaps experiencing this transit more apparently than others, the only way out is to work together with time, and not against it. This means remembering to include some time for play along the way, or even as we go along. Playfulness, good humour and laughter can lift our spirits so that we can return to work feeling revitalized and with a renewed perspective. Regardless of our current situation, now would be a great time to bring back a sense of balance and moderation into our life. What is out of balance? The first answer that comes to mind is what we need to figure out to get back into balance. Remember that play is just as necessary as work, the same way exercise needs to be balanced with rest, and so forth. So instead of feeling bogged down by pressures or responsibilities, we can see them as stepping stones to go to that next level of awareness and consciousness.

November 15th, 2015 | Moon in Capricorn, squares Mars, Venus and Uranus Rx, sextiles Neptune Rx, Mercury and the Sun, conjuncts Pluto, trines Jupiter: The new awareness is finally here. That strong feeling we have, that a change is needed now, has come for a reason. After all that we've been through in the past couple of days, we can finally see the world in a new light. And with Mars now moving through Libra joining Venus, we are seeing a new chapter in our sense of solidarity. Bearing the symbolism of the God of War, Mars in the sign of balance brings a wanting for justice. We might be looking for justice because we want it now. Know that there is no other way forward at this time but to work together to reach the justice that we are searching for. Regardless of where we are now in the world, or at what point we currently are in our life, do not let anyone or anything make us lose confidence in our own power. This can be a great time to work on ourself, and healing old emotional pain, to make room for even more love and light to permeate our life. There is wisdom here. Can we see it? Can we feel it? If not, perhaps it's another time for us to look inward to see what our soul is trying to tell us. We could find our ideas and inspirations picking up speed as the new week begins. Keep our feet steady on the ground and our mind open. A new breakthrough is on its way.

November 17th, 2015 | Moon in Aquarius, trines Mars and Venus, sextiles Saturn and Uranus Rx, squares Mercury and the Sun: Taking that first step to a new and lasting change. What can we do differently today to transform an old habit or belief we have about ourself and our life? Collaborating with reality is one of the first steps we can take to make progress and manifest what we desire. There is wisdom in taking action. There is courage in our willingness to make a positive change. A breakthrough is possible when we are open to it. Being open to a breakthrough means being open to how our life unfolds. Sometimes it is a subtle change that we are feeling. Other times, it is a more obvious change that we are ready to make that perhaps we weren't ready to make before. Once we are open to it, that's when the magic happens. We could have a realization at this time that will help us see more clearly. And this new understanding will set us on a positive course that is more in an alignment with our heart's truth. Know that seeing the truth can sometimes shatter old illusions or even upset us if we are resistant to change. Have faith that we will recover and open the door to a brand new beginning and an emotional healing. This could involve us making changes in our career, or even doing some kind of activism work with like-minded group of people. Whatever it may be, embrace the power that comes from taking charge of our own life.

November 20th, 2015 | Moon in Pisces, squares Saturn, conjuncts Neptune, sextiles Pluto, opposes Jupiter, trines the Sun and Mercury: Hail Neptune! Neptune is now moving direct after going retrograde in the sign of Pisces since June of 2015. Wherever transiting Neptune falls in our birth chart, that's where we find most inspiration. Bearing the symbolism of the God of the Seas, Neptune rules dreams and illusions as well as inspirations and spiritual energies. With Neptune going direct, the door to our imaginations can be re-opened. But not without some kind of struggle or hard work along the way, as Neptune is still in a square aspect to Saturn. A situation that we have been concerned about can be resolved through regaining balance. Perhaps moderation is the key to achieve that balance. In essence, the Saturn/Neptune square is asking us to look at what part of our life is out of balance lately. Perhaps there is a need to incorporate more self-care into our schedule. This is especially true if we haven't been feeling or sleeping well. We may feel pushed to our limit and wonder how we would have time to add more to our schedule. Now would be a great time to look at how we use our time. We are in a period of letting go of situations and relationships that have served their purpose. This is also true of letting go of anything toxic in our diet. Know that by releasing old, toxic energies, we make room for abundance to come into our life. By being more open to receiving, we can be more receptive to new ideas that could lead to abundance. Keep this vision in mind, have faith and let the energies of healing begin its magic in our life.

November 22nd, 2015 | Moon in Aries, trines Mercury and Saturn, opposes Mars and Venus, squares Pluto, conjuncts Uranus Rx: Making way for a new chapter in life. Trusting our instincts to make new and more solid decisions. Keeping our heart and mind open to new adventures and experiences. Where can we go from here? How can we evolve and grow into becoming more of our most authentic self? The road is open for new experiences. There are strong emotions brewing within, signalling a time of major change. We have learnt a lot from old, toxic experiences and we are now ready to begin a brand new cycle. We also have a higher sense of self-esteem and value our time more. Now is about making clear decisions about what changes we need to make to free up our energy and time, so that we can devote our time to more meaningful and purposeful activities. To make new choices on how we will spend our time, with whom, and where. We may not see it today or tomorrow, but we will look back in a few years and see how much progress we have made in honoring our instincts and following our soul's guidance. We may even be grateful that some things didn't work out the way we once wanted them to, because they have led us to a new and even better path. The key is to keep being truthful with kindness and respect to ourself. Once we express that true authentic self, we will feel an increase in energy and inspiration. Notice how much lighter we feel as we release the heaviness of all that we have held inside. Now is indeed the time to trust in our own instincts and move ahead.

November 24th, 2015 | Moon in Taurus, inconjuncts the Sun, Mercury, Saturn, Mars and Venus, sextiles Neptune, trines Pluto and Jupiter: What is our true essence? Beyond everything that we consider as 'mine', what do we see as our truth? The whole truth that lies beneath the surface. How about our connection with the inner self? What can we see when we are alone with our thoughts? Do we have a positive or a negative outlook? If we do have a negative mind chatter, can we shift our thoughts with our imagination? Imagine things finally working out in our life. Imagine our plans going well. Imagine what we want to happen, happens the way we wanted it. Imagine that we are safe and protected wherever we may be. How do we feel? Can we feel some kind of internal shift? This is not an exercise on how to avoid reality, but more to see the kind of relationship we can have with our own mind. So many of us often forget that we are not living in the past, or the future, but in a living, breathing present. This is mostly because we are juggling too many things at the same time. We may have responsibilities to attend to. Problems that need to get solved. Other people or even animals in our life that we are are constantly interacting with. As we are approaching a Full Moon in Gemini, we are guided to release pent-up emotions through heart-to-heart conversations. It can be a literal conversation with another person, or it can be a conversation with the inner self. The point is to release and detox tension, stress and anxiety from our body. Notice the signs that are pointing the way for our next steps and that serve as a reminder that we are in the flow. Have faith in the flow of life. We have it within us now to begin a more aware and vibrant journey where we feel more at one with our body, soul and spirit.

November 26th, 2015 | Full Moon in Gemini: Your mind has the ability to empower and disempower you. Which ability are you nurturing? As we observe the inner workings of our mind, what can we see? If we were asked to describe our mind in one word, what word would it be? The first word that comes to mind is what we believe to be true about our mind. It may not be the whole truth, because our mind is more vast and complex than we can describe in one word. But it can be a pretty good indicator of ideas and beliefs we have about our life. Remember that our mind is growing every day with every experience we encounter and every inspiration we get. So there is no one way to work out the ultimate way of thinking. There is only awareness and understanding that we can cultivate as we learn something new each day. Regardless of how we are feeling now, we always have the capacity to transform our mind. To let go of old, outdated values and internal programming we have that are holding us back. To communicate our mind in a new way so that we can develop a more authentic connection with others. To shift our thoughts from beliefs that are disempowering, to ones that are more empowering and encouraging. The key is to keep an open mind. With an open mind, we become a conduit for inspiration and hence make way for life's revelations to come into our life from different people and places. By nurturing more empowering thoughts, we empower our heart and soul at the same time. By cultivating more positive thoughts, we liberate our mind from the shackles of our old disempowering thoughts. Become our own source of empowerment with our own empowering thoughts! Read more on: http://bit.ly/1R6sF1z
